Once upon a time

Once upon a time 

There lived two partners in crime

Unaware of each other’s plight

They did, fight

Fight and fight and fight

Just to make things right

Perhaps God had another will

So, he set them apart across the hill

As for both had no other way

Just to keep their emotions at bay

In the time being

They dreamt of each other, without seeing 

They kept each other alive in memory 

And waited till February

Amidst of all the pain and grief

They met for a moment so brief

To share each other’s pain

And wonder why it didn't rain 

She was heartbroken and so was he 

But nothing could be done in time to be 

Future surely lied ahead

But they couldn't get each other out of their head

Even after so much time being apart

Nobody could trace why they did depart 

So now what to do , they didn't know

They only wanted to grow !
